Dori Jean Dill
Dori is an artist and storyteller with a lifelong love of reading. She earned a degree in art and worked as a graphic designer for a billboard company until she married a farmer and took on her most important creative role yet: raising three children. Her writing career began unexpectedly. While her daughters were in high school, she watched them and their friends collaborate on a young adult space fantasy. Their imagination and enthusiasm inspired her to write her own stories, which have grown into a science fiction series, a richly imagined world that has taken more than ten years to develop. An artist at heart, Dori brings a visual storyteller’s eye to her writing, creating vivid settings and immersive worlds. She believes stories have the power to connect generations, a value she holds dearly as both a mother and grandmother.
Dori lives on a farm in South Georgia with her husband. When she’s not writing, you’ll probably find her walking to the pond with her dog, spending time with her grandchildren, or curled up with a good book.
